San Joaquin woman dies in crash near Kerman

FRESNO COUNTY – The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate a two-vehicle collision that occurred northwest of Kerman and left one woman dead.

According to a CHP press release, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Siskiyou Avenue in Fresno County at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Sept. 12.

A preliminary investigation of the crash indicated that a San Joaquin man, 66, was driving a 2019 Dodge Charger eastbound on Belmont approaching Siskiyou. At the same time, a Fresno man, 24, was driving a 2019 Peterbilt box truck westbound on Belmont…
