Tarantulas stolen from Mobile pet store mysteriously returned the next day

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile police are investigating after two tarantulas were stolen from a pet store on Tuesday night and mysteriously returned the next morning.

Manhunt underway for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect in Okaloosa County

Two Red Rump Tarantulas were taken from B&B Pet Stop on Cottage Hill Rd., just before closing Tuesday night.

Supervisor at B&B Pet Stop, Jonathan Lough said tarantulas can be fascinating pets, though they aren’t for everyone.

“Tarantulas are an arachnid… different than spiders. They are much larger, they’re hairy,” Lough said…
