PBC Food Bank Welcomes Hunger Action Month with Ways to Give Back

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County Food Bank is honoring Hunger Action Month with a slate of events designed to bring the community together in support of the nearly 192,000 residents who face food insecurity.

The nonprofit distributed more than 11.7 million meals to more than 193,000 people during its 2024-25 fiscal year. Food is collected from grocery stores, farmers, wholesalers, and other partners, then distributed to more than 200 local agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, schools, and families.
