LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Crete woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly threatening to report her son’s ex-girlfriend’s family to ICE to have charges against him dropped.
In May, 53-year-old Veronica Adame’s teenage son was arrested and charged with assault by strangulation and first-degree sexual assault.
Court documents show the teen’s on-again, off-again girlfriend wanted to end the relationship but was allegedly physically and sexually assaulted after bringing it up.
While her son was in the Lancaster County Adult Detention Center, Adame made calls to him…
