LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — An intense storm that swept through Acadiana this afternoon caused a tree to fall on a woman’s house in Lafayette.
The resident of the home on Pearl Street, Diane Landry, said the fallen tree caused her and her son to be trapped inside the home until a nearby neighbor was able to come and help.
