FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced on Sept. 17 that Fayetteville violated state law by not assisting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during an incident on June 16.
Griffin’s opinion had been requested by State Rep. Kendon Underwood on June 18, who claimed the city’s response to the incident was against state law.
