Minneapolis Police to Host Community BBQ for Stronger Ties: Chief O’Hara Invites Residents for Burgers and Bonding

The Minneapolis Police Department is opening up the grill and inviting the local community to forge stronger ties over burgers and fun activities. In a recent social media post, the department announced that Chief Brian O’Hara and other MPD officers will be hosting a community BBQ at the Colonial Market & Restaurant on September 18, looking to foster a sense of camaraderie and safety in the neighborhood. The event promises a family-friendly atmosphere complete with free food, music, games, and a variety of resource tables.

Set to take place from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, the cookout is designed to connect residents with the officers who patrol their streets.
