Springfield PD and Burrell Behavioral Health’s co-responder mental health program is seeing results

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Springfield Police Department teamed up with Burrell Behavioral Health a few years ago to put mental health professionals on the streets, working side-by-side with law enforcement to provide critical mental health resources.

Last year, the partnership received a significant funding boost of nearly $800,000 to expand its services.
