Washington (7News) — On Wednesday, the D.C. Council gave its final approval to a heavily amended RENTAL Act, which sought to bring eviction timetables within the district back to pre-pandemic standards.
The Council passed the measure by a 10-to-3 vote after making significant changes to the original package of housing reforms first introduced by Mayor Muriel Bowser in February.
