(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Thrift shopping has grown in popularity in the past few years, andColorado Springs has one very unique thrift shop which donates all of its proceeds to animal rescues, welfare groups, and causes.
Last year alone, the “thrift shop,” called Rescued Hearts Unique Boutique, donated about $80,000 dollars towards the mission. It’s completely volunteer-run, and accepts and sells donated items, along with some new options like pet supplies and toys. People and businesses also donate new items like HOKAs or Birkenstocks.
