Airport Incentive Program OK’ed In Loveland

Loveland City Council voted 7 to 1 in favor of a business attraction program that will offer sales and use tax rebates for high-value aircraft purchases and aerospace industry investment, potentially bringing more revenue and jobs to the city. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports the city will rebate half of the city’s 3-cent sales tax on aircraft sales and registrations topping $1 million and direct another half-cent to a new Airport Infrastructure Development Fund, which will be used to add infrastructure to the 200 developable acres in the immediate vicinity.
