State of hunger in Central Ohio: ‘Worst I’ve ever seen it’

GROVE CITY, Ohio (WSYX) — With a strong economy, some of the fastest-growing counties in the state, and an economic base that includes state government, a massive university, and the headquarters of major companies, it may be hard to believe that there is food insecurity in Central Ohio.

However, the head of the region’s largest food bank says the need is more critical than ever.
