California man arrested for pointing laser at police helicopter, carrying meth

A 29-year-old Southern California man was arrested over the weekend after police say he pointed a laser at a law enforcement helicopter and was found with a bag of methamphetamine.

“Just before midnight on Saturday, Ontario Air was assisting with a call in Pomona when 29-year-old Juan Lazaro decided to point a laser at their helicopter,” the Pomona Police Department posted on Instagram Wednesday.

Officers tracked down the location where the laser was coming from and spotted Lazaro still in the area…
