(FOX40.COM) — Two recent vehicle-versus-pedestrian crashes at Folsom Boulevard and 35th Street are raising safety concerns in East Sacramento.
Advocates said faded striping, speeding drivers and a sharp curve make the intersection dangerous.
“Folsom is one of our legacy arterials, and that means it’s a road that’s been around for a long time that really feeds into our neighborhoods,” said Isaac Gonzalez with Slow Down Sacramento. “And it’s a road that people drive on like it’s a freeway because it used to be the freeway. And this bend right here is notoriously dangerous.”…
