WILMINGTON, DE — Delaware State Police have arrested a 30-year-old Pennsylvania man following an alleged road rage incident in Wilmington that involved a firearm.
According to authorities, the encounter began around 6:00 p.m. on September 15, 2025, when a 45-year-old Wilmington man reported being cut off by a Chevrolet Colorado on Concord Pike near Concord Mall. Police said the driver, identified as Robert George of Wallingford, allegedly accelerated, swerved into the victim’s lane, and then moved into the left-turn lane toward Widener University Delaware Law School.
Investigators stated that the victim pulled alongside the vehicle and a verbal exchange took place, during which George allegedly displayed a firearm. The victim contacted police, and troopers soon located the unoccupied vehicle in the university parking lot.
