Suspect Arrested for Vicious Hatchet Attack in Tulsa’s Sequoyah Park

Chaos erupted in a tranquil Tulsa park last week when a man was brutally attacked with a hatchet. The incident took place last Thursday at Sequoyah Park, and police were able to arrest the suspect shortly after the attack, according to a social media post from the Tulsa Police Department.

The victim was simply walking home, choosing to cut through the park, when the assault occurred. “The victim said he was walking home when he decided to cut through the park. While walking, he passed by a man and a woman sitting on a park bench. Shortly after that, the victim said the man hit him in the head with a hatchet multiple times,” the Tulsa Police Department detailed in a Facebook post. Despite suffering severe head injuries, the victim managed to quickly find help at a nearby neighbor’s house and was transported to the hospital.
