Motorcyclist injured in hit-and-run crash; suspect detained after foot chase

RENO, Nev. — On Wednesday morning, at approximately 6:20 a.m., deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle and a motorcyclist near Calle De La Plata Drive. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot, prompting a search by deputies and officers from the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Tribal Police.

Within 25 minutes, authorities located the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Dennis Graham, in the hills about half a mile from the crash site. Graham was detained and taken to a local hospital for evidentiary testing related to driving under the influence.
