SPOKANE, WA — Residents at North Point Village turned tables filled with cans, boxes and bags into a bustling assembly line, creating non-perishable snack bags for Second Harvest, Spokane’s local food bank. Each bag included a special touch: a handwritten note from a resident.
“These bags are a small reminder that someone is thinking about you,” said Janine Moore, Executive Director of North Point Village.
Residents participated in every step, from selecting items to writing notes, allowing them to play an active role in supporting their community. Once packed, the bags were delivered to Second Harvest to assist those in need…
