SOUTH LYON, MI, Sept. 18, 2025 ~ A cyber attack led to a three-day closure for South Lyon Community Schools, finally reopening school operations on Thursday.
The district became aware of the security incident on Sunday, Sept. 14, which resulted in the shutdown of their network, leaving schools without functioning phone systems and surveillance cameras, among other services.
