Annapolis, Md. (WBFF) — Drivers planning to cross the Bay Bridge (US 50/301) next week (September 21-27) should expect a series of lane closures and traffic pattern changes as the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) continues preservation and maintenance work on the critical Chesapeake Bay crossing.
Westbound span closures
The westbound span of the bridge may be fully closed during the following overnight periods:
- Sunday: Midnight to 5 a.m. (Monday morning)
- Monday to Wednesday: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (next morning)
- Thursday: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Friday morning)
- Saturday: 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Sunday morning)
