Worker claims he was sprayed with human waste at BWI; complaint filed against contractor

BALTIMORE, Md. (7News) — An employee with the airport services company AGI has alleged that last March, while working on an aircraft at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), he was sprayed with feces and urine.

Matt Schaal claims he continued to handle passenger luggage for more than seven hours after the incident happened. His complaint joins several others, prompting a group of workers, backed by several elected officials, to file a report against AGI to the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health.

The group’s complaint alleges that workers aren’t given breaks during “long work periods on the tarmac or inside aircraft, running out of water when temperatures exceed 90 degrees.”…
