Mt. Juliet Police Arrest Suspect Driving Stolen Mustang

On Wednesday afternoon, Mt. Juliet Police officers used a license plate reader alert to track down a stolen 2024 Dark Horse Mustang as it entered the city along E Division Street.

The driver, a 37-year-old man from Murfreesboro, was quickly stopped and arrested. Investigators determined the Mustang had been reported stolen out of Kentucky on September 16, 2025, after the suspect posed as a fake delivery service to fraudulently take possession of it.

The suspect also had multiple outstanding warrants, including ones out of Rutherford County for Violation of Probation (DUI) and Criminal Simulation, along with Smyrna City warrants for Failure to Appear on shoplifting charges…
