TOLEDO, Ohio (WKRC) – An Ohio man was found not guilty of stabbing two people by reason of sanity.
According to WTVG, 37-year-old Thomas Wilson, of Toledo, Ohio, was found not guilty of stabbing two people at around 6 a.m. on June 25, in an incident that left both individuals hospitalized with serious injuries.
The outlet’s report states that Wilson was indicted by a grand jury on July 2, and was facing the following charges:
- Attempted murder
- Felonious assault (Two counts)
Charging records reviewed by WTVG state that Wilson used an “edged weapon” to stab a woman in her abdomen and chest, with her injuries requiring emergency surgery. A man was also stabbed in the chest while attempting to intervene in the alleged attack on the woman, per the station’s report…
