TPD Employee Arrested for Falsifying Records
TAMPA, Fla. – A Tampa Police Department employee was arrested Thursday for allegedly creating falsified law enforcement credentials for a family member.
Angela Antonic, 42, a Latent Print Assistant hired in 2017, faces charges of Official Misconduct, Falsifying Records, and Accessing a Computer or Electronic Device Without Authority.
The arrest followed an internal investigation, which revealed Antonic used her position to create two sets of TPD credentials for a family member who had recently resigned from the department. According to police, Antonic admitted to making the documents to assist the relative in securing a new job. The department has since recovered the falsified credentials…
