Two people face federal robbery charges following gas station robbery

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Two people have been indicted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Amarillo Division, for alleged “Affecting Commerce by Robbery,” “Brandishing a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence,” and “Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.”

According to court documents, Brian Edward Lynch and Rebekah Irene Standley were both indicted on “Affecting Commerce by Robbery” and “Brandishing a Firearm in Furtherance of a Crime of Violence.” Lynch was also indicted on one count of “Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.”

These indictment charges come after an incident where Lynch and Standley allegedly attempted robbery of a Toot N’ Totum on Grand Street. Documents state that Lynch and Standley allegedly pointed a firearm at employees and demanded money.
