SONIC donates $30K to support Little Rock schools | What to know

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Fast-food giant SONIC announced Thursday that it donated $30,000 to fund classroom projects at Little Rock public schools to honor multiple local SONIC locations that were recognized among the top 50 SONICs in the country for 2025.

The SONIC Foundation stated that it donated $10,000 per location to benefit local schools, students, and educators in the area. The $30,000 location breaks down to three SONIC crews in the area being recognized in the top 50 — here’s a look at each:

  • 2917 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, Arkansas– Top 12
  • 820 N. Fourche Avenue, Perryville, Arkansas– Top 12
  • 919 Highway 65 North, Marshall, Arkansas– Top 50

The top-50 performances by the Little Rock-area crews happened during the 2025 Dr. Pepper SONIC Games, which made the funding possible.

Since two out of the three Little Rock crews ranked in the top 12, those two local crews will travel to Nashville in October to compete for the title of the top SONIC in America…
