NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Authorities say a coyote spotted in the Lakeview neighborhood has been trapped and euthanized following multiple reports from residents.
The Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East and the Orleans Levee District Police Department coordinated with a licensed Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator to capture the animal early Thursday near the 7200 block of General Haig Street.
The capture was reported around 4:36 a.m., officials said.
