DENVER — A now-former Broncos linebackers coach is now facing lesser charges for an incident in which he was accused of punching a police officer in the face at Denver International Airport in February.
Michael Wilhoite is now facing charges of obstruction of a peace officer and criminal mischief, which are misdemeanors, according to court documents. He was originally charged with second-degree assault on a police officer, a felony, along with the two other charges.
