LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 73-year-old man in a motorized wheelchair was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday in Bullhead City, Arizona, and he was sent to Las Vegas for medical evaluation, according to police.
Information provided by the Bullhead City Police Department provided little detail about the incident, but it said the crosswalk at the site is currently out of service. “The Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon at 5th street and Highway 95 is temporarily out of service for power relocation at the Circle K construction site,” according to a police social media post.
A traffic notice said: “The intersection is not closed, however the crosswalk and traffic light are not functioning at this time.”
