Traffic Stop Leads to Narcotics Arrest

September 17, 2025 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on September 15, 2025, at approximately 8:00 a.m., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Rosamond Substation conducted a traffic stop near Rosamond Boulevard and Sierra Highway. The driver, identified as Bridget Ray, was on felony probation for a prior narcotics sales case.

During the probation search, deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A follow-up probation compliance search at Ray’s residence uncovered a backpack containing approximately 1,365 oxycodone pills packaged for sale, along with psilocybin mushrooms and additional methamphetamine (pictured below).
