Kalamazoo man sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for drug trafficking

A Kalamazoo man will spend decades in prison for drug trafficking.

46-year-old Keith Smith of Kalamazoo was sentenced to 30 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to a release from the office of U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan Timothy VerHey.

In 2022, investigators used a confidential informant to buy a pound of methamphetamine from Smith, officials said.
