The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, 866-366-3723, uses a risk-based inspection reporting process for restaurants and other food handlers.
Daily Brew Coffee Trailer, mobile food facility Type 3, 2584 E. Horseshoe Rd. Lancaster, September 12. Pass. Food employee observed involved in food preparation, wearing a wristwatch. Soap was not available at the handwash sink. Scoop being stored in the ice machine with handle touching the ice. Observed a tan and pink slimy residue on the deflector plate of the ice maker. PRIOR VIOLATION. Food facility has an employee that has taken food safety training program; however, the food safety program was not an ANSI/CFP accredited Certified Food Manager program. The Food facility has 90 days to enroll an employee if a Food Safety Class for Managers. The hot water faucet of the handwash sink was turned off. The handwash sink in was blocked by a drainage rack with utensils and other food equipment draining into the sink. Employees are not washing their hands due to it being blocked and inaccessible.
