Pensacola mayor advances Baptist Hospital demolition despite partial county support

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The city of Pensacola is moving forward with the demolition of Baptist Hospital with or without support from the county, according to Mayor D.C. Reeves at his news conference this week.

The mayor is saying if the city can close on the property at the end of this month, demolition could begin sometime this year.
