FISD approves first balanced budget in three years

For the first time in three years, a balanced budget has been approved in Frisco ISD alongside a compensation plan.

This balanced budget includes:

  • $771.69 million in revenue
  • $762.68 million in spending

The new budget, set to take effect within 2025-2026, will include a $9 million surplus. This added revenue will contribute to the District’s fund balance, which will be used to fulfill budget deficits. In addition, the approved compensation plan includes pay raises for all staff.
