The 2026-2027 Lafayette Parish School calendar has been approved.
The board voted at its Thursday meeting to approve the calendar that includes dates for the start and end of school, spring break and holiday breaks.
Classes for students would begin on Aug. 12, 2026, and end on May 27, 2027. Teacher in-service would start on Aug. 3, 2026, for new teachers and Aug. 5, 2026, for all teachers…
