DENVER (KDVR) — Supporters of Barry Morphew, who was indicted by a grand jury in June for the first-degree murder of his wife, Suzanne Morphew, helped him post bond that was set at $3 million.
Barry was taken into custody in Arizona in June after he was indicted by a grand jury following new information on his late wife, Suzanne, whose remains were found in Saguache County in September 2023.

The autopsy also showed that 49-year-old Suzanne had a deer tranquilizer known as BAM, a combination of butorphanol, azaperone and medetomidine, in her system before she died. According to Barry’s arrest affidavit, prescription records show that he was the only resident in the area of the state who had access to the tranquilizer.
