Police arrest multiple individuals for driving under the influence in separate incidents across the city

Eugene, OR – Eugene Police arrested multiple individuals for driving under the influence in separate incidents across the city.

On the morning of September 14, officers responded to the 1500 block of Fetters Loop after reports of a man unresponsive in a Subaru Forester that was stopped in the roadway with the engine running. The driver, identified as 32-year-old Brennen Andrew Babbhacket, did not respond to attempts to wake him. Officers eventually unlocked the vehicle using a second set of keys, and Babbhacket awoke as the door was being opened.

He removed his foot from the brake, causing the Subaru to roll forward and crash into a patrol vehicle. He then continued driving toward an officer, who broke the window with an ASP baton. Babbhacket stopped and was taken into custody. After further investigation, he was charged with DUII, criminal mischief in the first degree, and reckless driving.
