US Drought Monitor: Dry spell transforms Northeast Ohio’s rainy surplus into severe drought conditions

CLEVELAND — The latest U.S. Drought Monitor was released yesterday and paints a rather parched picture for Northeast Ohio.

This is in surprisingly stark contrast to what the drought monitor looked like at the start of June.
