- ‘Pawn Stars’ cast member Corey Harrison loses punching contest to guest — ends up paying more (marketrealist.com)
On a past episode of “Pawn Stars,” Corey Harrison engaged in a friendly punching contest with a customer over the price of a vintage arcade game, resulting in a surprising outcome.
The item in question was a 1981 Zamperla KO Punching Game, a classic arcade machine that tests players’ punching power. While the seller initially asked for $1,000, Harrison countered with a lower offer due to the machine’s missing parts.
After some back-and-forth, the two settled on a punch-off proposed by Chumlee to determine the final price. If the customer won, he’d get his asking price of $700.
If Harrison won, he’d pay his offered $650.
The customer, clearly familiar with the game, stepped up first and delivered a powerful punch, scoring an impressive 170. Harrison, relying more on strength than technique, then took his turn. Despite a strong effort, he only managed a 150, ultimately losing the contest and agreeing to pay the customer’s asking price.
Though Harrison may not have minded the extra $50, his competitive spirit was clearly ignited. Later, he was spotted practicing his punches on the newly acquired machine, much to the chagrin of Chumlee.
