BUFFALO, N.Y. — Every night, restaurants throw away food that doesn’t sell. One Buffalo business has found a way to make sure those leftovers don’t go to waste.
The app called Too Good To Go looks a lot like any other food delivery service, but instead of ordering a full-price meal, you’re getting what’s called a “surprise bag” filled with leftovers from local restaurants.
It just launched in Buffalo, already partnering with more than 80 businesses. From bakeries to pizza shops, the goal is simple to save food from going in the trash, and put it back on the table…
