Dangerous chemical gas leak leaves lasting impact on local communities

ADDYSTON, Ohio (WKRC) – Nearly a year has passed since a dangerous styrene gas leak from the Ineos plant in Addyston forced mass evacuations in several west side communities.

The incident, which occurred when a tanker was left on the tracks too long, resulted in the release of styrene gas into the air. The gas release was contained by the next day, but its effects continue to loom over the community.
