Richland one superintendent continues ‘listening and learning sessions’ this fall

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Richland One Superintendent Dr. Todd Walker is continuing his Listening & Learning Sessions at locations throughout the community, providing opportunities for students, staff, parents and residents to share feedback as part of his 90-Day Strategic Entry Plan.

The sessions are designed to help Dr. Walker better understand the needs and priorities of the district as he works toward presenting a long-term vision. At the end of the 90-day plan, he will deliver a written report to the Richland One Board of School Commissioners. In December, Dr. Walker will unveil a draft of Richland One Vision 2030 for community input. The final plan will be shared during his State of the District Address on February 26, 2026, at A.C. Flora High School.

Dr. Walker will be at Soda City Market this Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to noon at 1720 Main Street. Additional September sessions are scheduled for Greenview Park (Sept. 22), Lorick Park (Sept. 25) and Drew Wellness Center (Sept. 29)…
