(KRON) — What was thought to be an apparent handgun cocked by a suspect during a grocery store parking spot confrontation turned out to be a cigarette holder, said Fremont police.
The incident happened Sept. 9 on Fremont Boulevard.
“A victim saw a subject standing near a parked car and asked the subject if he could take his parking spot,” according to a police incident log. “The subject yelled at the victim and retrieved what looked like a handgun from his vehicle. The subject appeared to cock the handgun, and the victim fled.”…
