North Carolina man arrested for threats of mass violence against University of Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An 18-year-old from North Carolina was arrested last week for making threats of violence against the University of Louisville, located in Kentucky.

On Sept. 12, the Louisville Metro Police Department sent a request for assistance to Davie County Sheriff’s Office in Mocksville, N.C after UofL received threats of mass violence, according to a social media post by the sheriff’s department.
