Proactive policing in Berry Hill leads to arrest of suspected shoplifter

BERRY HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Berry Hill Police Department issued a tough message for would-be criminals who come to the roughly 1-square-mile city inside of Davidson County: If you commit a crime, law enforcement will come for you.

Back on Sept. 4, BHPD Sgt. Tony Russo was proactively patrolling the parking lot of the Walgreens on 8th Avenue. He said officers routinely check on all the businesses in Berry Hill.

“Right place, right time — some luck, maybe, but yeah, this is what we do around Berry Hill. We make our faces, make our cars shown at the businesses,” Russo said…
