In an effort to provide clarity and transparency to the measures taken against the plight of homelessness, the City of Sacramento has published its latest data on the matter. The report details the activities carried out by the City’s Incident Management Team (IMT) from September 8 to 14, as they answer calls and address issues related to the city’s unsheltered population.
During the reported week, Sacramento received 673 calls through its 311 customer service portal, a number which initiated some 1,907 “cases.” According to Sacramento City Express, these figures do not represent redundant reports, but rather, a single call can lead to multiple cases being opened due to the complex nature of the issues at hand.
