Procter & Gamble Expanding in Iowa City as Part of Statewide $267M Economic Boost

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Procter & Gamble is moving forward with a major expansion at its Iowa City facility, part of a broader package of economic development awards approved Friday by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Board.

The project will add a new production line to P&G’s Oral-B site in Iowa City, with the company planning to build a 150,000-square-foot facility and invest in new equipment. The $150 million expansion will create 100 new jobs paying an average of $31.85 per hour. The company was awarded tax benefits through the state’s High Quality Jobs (HQJ) program.
