CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – While the weekend won’t be a washout, you’ll defnitely want to keep a close eye on the forecast if you have any outdoor plans.
Although some isolated showers and storms cannot be ruled out, we are expecting a general lull in the activity for a period of time during the overnight hours before a new round of showers moves in from the west around daybreak Saturday. Lows tonight fall into the upper 50s and low 60s.
Saturday will feature scattered showers and a few storms through the day. The most widespread coverage looks to be during the morning and early afternoon hours, with activity becoming more isolated during the late afternoon and evening. Highs reach the mid 70s.
