EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A fugitive was arrested Thursday after he, and possibly his girlfriend, allegedly tried to run from deputies during a traffic stop near Westway.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Jaren Adrian Dickerson, 26, and Jaclyn Nicole Chavez, 28, were arrested after both tried to run– one on foot, one with the car– during a traffic stop at the 7600 De Alva Drive, near I-10.
After Dickerson allegedly gave the deputy a false identity, Dickerson climbed out of the car and made a run for it, while Chavez moved from the passenger side to behind the wheel and drove off in the vehicle…
