Sept. 19, 2025—Dirk Heath, principal at Aragon Middle School, was named the principal of Cy-Fair High School on Sept. 19. Heath replaces Ana Martin, who was recently named CFISD assistant superintendent for secondary school leadership.
Heath has 31 years of experience in education. His career began as a technology and business teacher and coach in Aldine ISD. After 12 years as a classroom teacher, he moved into administration, joining CFISD as an assistant principal at Bleyl Middle School in 2007. He served in the role for four years before serving as an assistant principal at Cypress Falls High School for one year.
Heath also served as summer school principal at Cypress Falls in 2010 and Bleyl in 2011. In 2012, Heath was promoted to associate principal Cypress Woods High School, where he served for 11 years before being named to his current role as principal at Aragon in 2023…
